Yeti Airlines started its first commercial flight in September 1998 with a single Canadian built DHC6-300 Twin Otter aircraft. Within a decade it became the largest domestic airline operator with a fleet of BAE Systems Jetstream-41, DHC6-300 Twin Otter, and the German-built Dornier Do 228 aircraft.
Yeti Airlines is the only means of the transportation facility to some of the remotest regions. Promoting tourism and more importantly, providing rescue missions; for sick people in need of emergency medical care and preventing starvation by ferrying foodstuff and world-aid; are sorties we are fortunate to help with. We have maintained the only reliable mode of transportation to and from the mountain regions of Nepal. Yeti Airlines also provides special leverages to physically challenged persons.
